Jabil Guangzhou is seeking a LiDAR Subject Matter Expert to lead cutting-edge optical product development and manufacturing solutions. If you're passionate about LiDAR, optical systems, and driving innovation in autonomous tech, AR/VR, and smart manufacturing — we want to hear from you. 🔍 What You’ll Do: Lead product engineering initiatives for LiDAR and optical products, including failure analysis, production testing, and design improvements. Collaborate with global customers on product design and serve as a technical interface. Apply AI, Big Data, and digital factory concepts to engineering projects. Drive DFx, reliability testing, and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce new technologies to the team. Represent Jabil in industry forums, publications, and conferences. 🎓 What You Bring: Bachelor’s or higher in Optics, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering (Master/PhD preferred). 8 years in optical product R&D; 5 years in LiDAR design and testing. Deep knowledge of VCSEL, SPAD, SIPM, camera/lens systems, and LiDAR manufacturing processes. Experience with MATLAB, ZMAX, FEA, and LiDAR communication protocols (e.g., CAN). Familiarity with automotive product standards and reliability testing. Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in global teams.
