Job Summary Senior manager of electrical engineering team that designs, develops, modifies and evaluates electrical parts and integrated circuitry for electrical equipment or other hardware systems. Education & Experience Typically requires 12 years experience in a related field and 5-8 years experience in a Lead Role Typically College or university degree required Responsibilities Responsible for leading a team of electrical design engineers in developing innovative and high-quality electrical solutions. Your role will involve overseeing the entire electrical design process, from conceptualization to implementation, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will play a crucial role in driving technical excellence, fostering collaboration, and delivering cutting-edge electrical designs that meet the needs of our organization and our clients. Skills/ Ability Generic (High Level) Several years of experience in electrical design engineering, with a demonstrated track record of success in leading and managing teams. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget. In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, concepts, and practices, with a focus on applying them in real-world design projects. Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices in electrical design engineering. Leadership Capabilities (People Leader) "M" Career Stream Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and empower team members. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
