Shift B: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat Week 1, then Sun, Weds and Thurs Week 2. 7pm-7am

This role involves inspecting products, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the molding department.

How will you make an impact?
- Perform in-process and final inspections of molded parts according to established quality control plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Utilize various measurement tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, gauges) to verify product dimensions and characteristics.
- Identify and document non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective actions and containment procedures.
- Collaborate with production personnel and engineering to investigate root causes of quality defects and implement effective solutions.
- Monitor and control critical molding process parameters to ensure consistent product quality.
- Conduct first-piece approvals and provide feedback to molding operators.
- Maintain accurate quality records, inspection logs, and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Participate in internal audits and support external audit activities as required.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of quality control procedures and work instructions.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in quality control, preferably within a plastic injection molding environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and quality specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to use a variety of precision measuring instruments.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, 8D).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Ability to work the B shift schedule
