- Develop, motivate, and support housekeeping team members through regular coaching and timely feedback.
- Ensure team members are properly trained and able to perform assigned duties effectively.
- Communicate changes in procedures, priorities, or work assignments as needed.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas to minimize hazards.
- Perform cleaning duties throughout plant and office areas using equipment such as floor sweepers, polishers, and vacuum cleaners.
- Sweep, scrub, and mop floors as required.
- Clean offices, partitions, windows, drinking fountains, restrooms, and other facility areas.
- Monitor and replenish housekeeping supplies.
- Remove and dispose of waste and recyclable materials.
- Report facility or housekeeping concerns to leadership in a timely manner.
- Follow all company safety, health, and security policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- HS Diploma required.
- Minimum of 5 years of housekeeping, janitorial, or facilities support experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or commercial environment.
- Previous lead, supervisory, or team leadership experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with managers, customers, clients, and the general public, including presenting information and responding to questions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to gather information, evaluate situations, and draw sound conclusions.
- Proficiency using personal computers, Windows-based operating systems, and related software applications.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other business systems; experience with Jabil software applications is a plus.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions, visual aids, correspondence, and workplace communications.
- Ability to write basic correspondence and maintain accurate documentation.
- Capable of following established procedures and carrying out routine tasks with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working in structured environments with standardized processes.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios, and graph interpretation.
