Job Summary Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental health and safety programs to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies at Nypro Inc. Job Responsibilities * Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA). * Conduct regular EHS inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues, recommending and tracking corrective actions. * Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures. * Provide EHS training to employees on topics such as hazard communication, emergency preparedness, confined spaces, and lockout/tagout. * Manage hazardous waste disposal programs and ensure proper handling, storage, and documentation of hazardous materials. * Monitor air emissions, wastewater discharge, and other environmental parameters to ensure compliance with permits and regulations. * Maintain accurate EHS records, reports, and documentation for regulatory compliance and internal tracking. * Participate in EHS committee meetings and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization. * Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and conduct drills. * Collaborate with various departments to integrate EHS considerations into operational processes and projects. Job Qualifications * BS/AS degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Occupational Health, or a related field a plus * 0-2 years of experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics molding or a similar industry. * Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant EHS regulations. * Experience in helping develop and implementing EHS programs. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and training skills. * Ability to conduct EHS audits, inspections, and incident investigations. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) are a plus. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Or equivalent combination of education and experience BE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
