How will you make an impact?- The PV Engineer will perform product verification activities including test execution, protocol/plan development, data collection/analysis, and test fixture design. Testing will be coordinated and executed in conjunction with our customer partners in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of leading technical product verification activities and have strong communication skills to interface directly with the customer. What will you do? -   Manage tests from setup through execution; communicate status with PV manager and customer. Translate customer needs into clear, testable, traceable requirements Collect and Analyze test data, and document in test reports; share results with the team to understand failures Support text fixture design for test optimization/efficiency/modularity (utilizing tools such as LabVIEW and SolidWorks) Lead root cause investigations of technical issues Be customer facing and interface with the customer’s technical team Lead technical research initiatives to evaluate emerging technologies, develop comprehensive testing strategies, and collect data to validate hypotheses and inform design decisions. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. How will you get here? -  Education:   Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university is required Experience:   Minimum of 2- 5 years of related experience and/or training is required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:   Strong understanding of engineering principles, with hands-on experience using standard laboratory equipment to evaluate tensile/compression, drop, leak, pressure, dosage delivery accuracy, aging, sound, etc. Inherent curiosity to diagnose and resolve issues, with proven experience in debugging and troubleshooting technical problems. Root cause analysis and recreation of failure mode. Familiarity with various sensors, their functions, and methods of interaction. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, effectively communicating with external teams to align and prioritize work when resources are limited.\ Familiarity with setting up and running Test Chambers (e.g., EMC, Environmental, Thermal, etc.) Familiarity of Safety/ Electromechanical Standards (e.g., 60601-1) Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Degree (Masters/ Ph.D.) is preferred An equivalent combination of education, training or experience will be considered BE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
