CNC Operator II - Weekends

How Will You Make an Impact? As a CNC Operator II, at our Grand Junction, CO facility, you will operate various CNC machine tools including multi-axis mills or lathes. Location: On-site at our Grand Junction, CO facility Shift: Friday - Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM What Will You Do? Safely perform all tasks. Operate CNC mills and lathes. Utilize inspection equipment to check accuracy of work, in accordance with blueprint specifications. Complete all job-related paperwork, accurately, per requirements . Maintain equipment and work area on a daily basis in a clean and orderly condition. Follow prescribed work rules and standard safety regulations at all times. Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others. Coordinate with supervisor and other team members to meet production schedule demands. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Perform other related duties as assigned. How Will You Get Here? Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Basic computer and data entry skills. Basic shop math skills. Familiarity with CNC operation. Ability to read job instructions and blueprints. Strong attention to detail. Good communication skills, verbal and written. Physical ability to operate machines including bending, stretching, squatting, and climingb to access all parts of the machine. Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and stretching. Must be able to lift 35 pounds at a time. Must be able to work in noisy environments (at times). Education & Experience High School diploma or equivalent. Secondary School, Technical Certificate, or Degree, preferred. Manual machining experience a plus. This position requires use of information which is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). The hourly pay range for this role is $16.30 - $29.33.
