You will lead supply base development, execute sourcing strategies, and serve as a key interface between suppliers, customers, and internal teams. Your work will directly influence cost performance, supplier capability, and overall supply chain effectiveness.

What Will You Do?
- Manage MRP activities to ensure timely and efficient material supply aligned with production demand.
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies tailored to specific customers or Business Units.
- Support customer needs using standard processes and customized solutions as required; collaborate with Purchasing Manager and Supply Chain Management (SCM) teams.
- Influence customer supply chain strategies to align with Jabil’s preferred sourcing approach.
- Communicate Jabil expectations to suppliers and conduct supplier audits, visits, certifications, and performance reviews.
- Obtain and incorporate feedback from Materials Planners regarding supplier delivery, quality, and service performance.
- Support and contribute to Jabil SCM initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
- Lead quoting activities for new and existing materials; partner with Materials Quotation Analysts as applicable.
- Continuously re‑quote and negotiate to drive cost reduction opportunities.
- Make sourcing decisions based on total cost of ownership, including price, freight, duty, flexibility, quality, and supplier performance.
- Negotiate terms and conditions that protect Jabil’s interests, including liability, stocking agreements, and non‑standard terms.
- Ensure execution of pricing agreements such as World Wide Purchasing Agreements (WWPA).
- Expand sourcing options by adding preferred suppliers to the Approved Manufacturer’s List (AML).
- Analyze and project component purchase pricing for standard costing processes.
- Provide input on customer quotes to maintain competitiveness while maximizing Materials Price Variance (MPV).
- Optimize MPV by reducing cost and minimizing unfavorable PPV/MPV.
- Partner with Business Unit Managers to obtain customer approvals for additional costs (e.g., premium freight, tooling).
- Collaborate with Materials Planners to monitor supplier performance and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Comply with company security policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Relevant experience in purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain required.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.
- Strong understanding of MRP systems, sourcing strategies, and supplier management.
- Ability to analyze costs and make data‑driven sourcing decisions.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience with supplier contracts and agreements.
- Advanced PC skills, including experience with Jabil software packages.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to effectively communicate and present information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate ratios, percentages, and cost impacts.
- Ability to interpret and work with technical documentation and data.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
Salary : $72,100 - $129,700
