Role Description
This is a role for semi flexible Speech Language Pathologist located in Tampa, FL. Family communication and a fun interactive child experience are core competencies for a Jabber Jaw Kids Speech Therapist.
The Speech Language Pathologist will provide comprehensive services to individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and creating personalized treatment plans for clients, as well as offering therapy sessions to address areas such as speech production, voice, language development, and swallowing disorders. This role also involves collaboration with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support the client’s progress and well-being.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Speech Therapy and evaluation techniques
- Knowledge and experience in treating Speech and Communication Disorders
- Proficiency in addressing Dysphagia and Language Disorders
- Ability to work effectively with families and interdisciplinary teams
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Florida
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Energy, compassion, and a patient-centered approach
- Ability to manage paperwork and parent communication
- Ability to travel to schools and treatment locations
