Cashier/Customer Service Representative/Barista

Responsibilities

• Process sales accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring smooth transactions for all customers
• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks, adhering to quality standards and food safety protocols
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing inquiries or concerns promptly
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, and seating areas in accordance with food handling and safety standards
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during shift changes and daily operations
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring proper food safety practices are followed at all times
• Support retail sales transactions by restocking merchandise and maintaining an organized workspace

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or café environments is highly preferred, especially with barista duties involving coffee preparation and beverage service
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in processing transactions
• Strong skills in cash handling, basic math, and processing cash transactions are essential for accuracy during busy periods
• Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service with a friendly attitude and effective communication skills
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is required to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
• Experience in retail sales transactions and food industry roles will support your success in this multifaceted position
• Excellent time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities while maintaining high-quality service
