Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dump Truck Driver with a minimum of 1 year experience in a dump truck to join our team. You will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites, ensuring that all loads are delivered safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, as well as the ability to work in various construction environments. A commitment to safety and adherence to all regulations is essential.
Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and dirt to designated locations.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials, utilizing equipment such as loaders and backhoes when necessary.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of materials transported, including delivery logs and vehicle maintenance reports.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and site needs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while operating vehicles on construction sites
- Perform routine maintenance on the truck and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Being on time daily is a must.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.With a minimum of 1 year with having a CDL liense.
- Experience operating dump trucks.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety regulations.
- Mechanical knowledge for basic troubleshooting and maintenance of vehicles.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
