We are seeking an experienced Jewelry Sales Associate who is passionate about the jewelry industry and enjoys building long-term customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have prior jewelry sales experience, strong clienteling skills, and the ability to confidently guide customers through purchases, custom design projects, and repair consultations.
What You'll Do
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience from initial greeting through follow-up.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through personalized service and outreach.
- Assist customers with fine jewelry, bridal, custom design, and repair needs.
- Educate clients on products, gemstones, custom design options, and repair services.
- Accurately document custom and repair intake details while setting clear expectations regarding pricing and timelines.
- Work closely with the custom design and repair teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Follow up with customers regarding projects, completed work, and future opportunities.
- Meet individual sales goals while contributing to overall team success.
- Support merchandising, inventory presentation, and overall showroom appearance.
- Utilize POS and client tracking systems accurately and efficiently.
What We're Looking ForRequired
- Previous jewelry sales experience.
- Genuine passion for jewelry and the jewelry industry.
- Proven relationship-building and clienteling abilities.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Confidence presenting luxury products and closing sales.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred
- Graduate Gemologist (GG) designation or other jewelry industry certifications.
- Experience with custom design consultations and repair intake.
- Existing client book or demonstrated ability to build a loyal customer base.
Compensation & Benefits
- $22.00-$28.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Additional compensation consideration for highly experienced jewelry professionals who bring an established clientele.
