As a CDL Class A Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials locally in a safe and timely manner.
We currently have 2nd shift (2pm start time) available - this is a full-time position out of our Waukegan terminal. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9-10 hour shifts. Home every night and no weekends!

- Candidates will be asked to train at our Crystal Lake home base terminal for the first week (paid mileage)*
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations
- Transport goods and materials to various locations
- Load and unload cargo
- Ensure all cargo is secured properly and safely
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
- Minimum 2 years experience driving with CDLA.
- Pick up and delivery experience preferred.
- Must be at least 23 years old.
- CDL Hazardous Materials & Tanker Endorsements preferred, will be required to get within 3 months of hire.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks within required time frames.
- Ability to take care of the customer’s needs while following company procedures.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with employees and customers.
- Ability to demonstrate professional conduct conforming to a set of values and accepted standards.
- Ability to work at a sustained pace and produce quality work.
- Ability to be internally inspired to perform a task to the best of one’s ability using his/her own drive or initiative.
- High School Graduate or GED Equivalent.
- No convictions for a “serious or disqualifying traffic violation” within the last three years. No more than four moving violations in the past 36 months, and no more than two moving violations in the previous 12 months.
- Must be able to pass drug screen, DOT physical and Functional Employment Physical. Must be willing to participate in Random Drug Program.
