DUTIES
- Accurately sets up and maintains payroll records of all current employee including terminations, leaves of absence, vacation and benefit accruals and other changes in employment status
- Assists with the completion of Unemployment, Workers' Compensation, or other paperwork related to payroll as required
- Payroll processing using software Paychex - Perform general office administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence
-Onboarding processing, I-9 documentation, fingerprinting
- Maintain and update office records and files
- Prepare and distribute memos, letters, and other documents
- Assists internal and external contacts in a positive and professional manner, answering questions or guiding them to the appropriate contact or resource
- Provide support for various projects and initiatives as needed
MUST HAVES
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred
- Proven experience in office administration or related role
- Proficient in using payroll software Paychex
- Minimum 3 years experience in payroll administration
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
-Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Ability to multi task and to manage own time effectively
-Must be a team player, able to get along well with others and support the business -Exhibits positivity, flexibility and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.
