Survey Field Coordinator

As our Survey Field Coordinator, you'll lead field crews, coordinate daily operations, and help deliver the high-quality surveying services our clients have come to expect. You'll work alongside a talented team on impactful public and private projects throughout the region while mentoring others, embracing innovation, and contributing to the continued growth of our surveying practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily field survey operations, scheduling crews to meet project priorities.
- Ensure safe, accurate, and efficient execution of boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, utility, transportation, and construction surveys.
- Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams through proactive communication and exceptional service.
- Monitor project progress, solve challenges in the field, and support successful project delivery.
- Perform survey calculations, construction stakeout computations, and review field data for accuracy.
- Utilize Carlson, AutoCAD, or similar software to support project deliverables.
- Oversee survey equipment and fleet maintenance.
- Mentor junior field staff while promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience leading land survey field operations.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with survey calculations, construction stakeout, and CAD software.
- SIT certification is a plus but not required.
- A commitment to safety, quality, collaboration, and delivering an outstanding client experience.
