We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, packaging, and shipping outgoing orders accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and package orders for shipment according to company standards
- Verify order accuracy (items, quantities, labels) before shipping
- Print and apply shipping labels using shipping software
- Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.) for pickups
- Maintain clean and organized shipping and packing areas
- Track shipments and update order status in the system
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse or shipping experience is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills (shipping systems, scanners, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment
- Warehouse setting with moderate to fast-paced activity
- May involve standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive tasks
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23.40 - $28.20 per hour
