We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to help with general maintenance on rental properties in the Wilson area. We offer competitive pay, insurance, retirement, and paid time off. This position takes care of maintenance on vacant and occupied units. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, organized, dependable, and self-motivated. Experience in construction, maintenance or property management is required. This position does not require weekends or after hours.
Starting salary: $40,000 (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
· General maintenance repairs, plumbing, electrical, painting, appliance repairs, cleaning, some carpentry, door and window adjustments.
· Complete work orders. Record accurate time and materials used on each work order.
· Turn in completed work orders daily to the Property Manager and communicate any outstanding work orders.
· Maintain adequate maintenance supply inventory in company vehicle.
· Keep company vehicle properly maintained and tidy; tools are supplied by the company.
· Complete or assist with special projects as directed.
· Perform other duties as requested by management.

· Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Ability to manage time, prioritize, and organize work effectively and efficiently.
· Ability to be punctual and proactively plan time off.
Must be able to pass a drug screening test.
