For 50 years, J&V Restaurant Supply & Design has provided top-tier restaurant supplies, commercial kitchen equipment, tabletop items, chemicals, and design services across Montana.
We are seeking a high-energy, self-motivated Outside Sales Representative based in Billings to service our existing customer base and aggressively drive new business across Yellowstone County and surrounding communities.
In this field sales role, you will work directly with restaurants, bars, schools, healthcare facilities, and commercial kitchens—backed by our established local Billings showroom, warehouse inventory, company delivery vehicle, and 50-year reputation.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Base Salary: $52,000 / year
- Commission: 30% commission on gross profit from generated sales (Uncapped earning potential)
- Company Vehicle & Fuel: Company delivery vehicle provided; all fuel costs covered by J&V.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Account Management & Prospecting: Build relationships with our existing Billings-area customers while conducting daily face-to-face sales calls to grow new accounts across Yellowstone County and nearby towns.
- Full Product Line Sales: Sell across our entire catalog—heavy equipment, smallwares, tabletop items, disposables, and chemicals.
- Design-Build Projects: Identify and pursue commercial kitchen design-build and remodeling projects, partnering directly with our contract design team to land complete equipment packages.
- Product Delivery & Service: Utilize the company vehicle to make regular product deliveries to customer accounts, ensuring dependable service and strong ongoing client relationships.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- Sales Drive or Foodservice Background: Proven B2B outside sales experience OR a strong restaurant/kitchen background (Front or Back of House) paired with a high natural drive to sell.
- Fearless Face-to-Face Approach: Comfortable walking into commercial kitchens unannounced, engaging decision-makers, and persisting through "no."
- High Personal Accountability: Self-directed, reliable, disciplined, and focused on hitting sales goals without direct supervision.
- Clean Driving Record & Local Residency: Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and currently reside in the Billings / Yellowstone County area. (No out-of-state candidates or relocation provided.)
