This role reports to the Project Delivery Team Lead (Northwest) within the Transportation Services Group (TSG) and will support transportation projects from concept through construction while mentoring a team of EITs.

The successful candidate will perform the following duties:

Technical Responsibilities

• Support and mentor transportation engineering staff in the Kennewick office and across the TSG.
• Lead delivery of local, state, private, and federally funded transportation projects.
• Conduct quality control and assurance for engineering deliverables.
• Utilize or be willing to learn:
• Autodesk Civil 3D
• Bentley Open Roads
• Microsoft Office Suite
  
  
  

Transportation Group Responsibilities

• Contribute to strategic planning for transportation group operations.
• Provide technical guidance on a wide range of traffic and transportation projects.
• Mentor EITs and project engineers.
• Manage workloads and identify resource needs.
• Collaborate with design engineers across multiple offices.
  
  
  

Business Development Responsibilities

• Support business development efforts under the direction of local project managers.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Professional Engineer license, with ability to become licensed in WA, OR, and ID.
• 8–20 years of progressive transportation engineering experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage schedules and deliverables.
• Strong collaborative, communication, and writing skills.
  
  
  

Applicable Career Path Titles

• Project Engineer – Lead (Typically 4 or more years of licensure)
• Project Engineer – Senior (Typically 10 or more years of licensure)
  
  
  

Salary Range: $115,000-$155,000 per year, determined by experience.
