Assistant Instructor at a Martial Arts Studio

Overview:

We are seeking for a motivated energetic and athletic individual to join our team as a Junior Assistant Instructor at our Taekwondo studio. This position requires assisting in teaching Taekwondo classes to students of all ages and skill levels. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about martial arts, passionate about teaching and working with children, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and ready to immerse in a cultural heritage that Taekwondo represents.

Responsibilities:

- Assist head instructors, Taekwondo Masters, in teaching Taekwondo classes, focusing on proper technique, discipline, and safety.

- Provide guidance and support to students during class activities and exercises.

- Demonstrate Taekwondo techniques and forms for students.

- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

- Assist in organizing and supervising belt testing and other special events.

Qualifications:

- Martial arts experience is preferred.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Passionate for martial arts and commitment to promoting its values.

- Proactive and energetic, someone who takes initiative to stay productive throughout the workday.

Schedule:

Part-time position with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to accommodate class schedules and events. 10-20 hours a week (~3 hrs/day)
