J-Team Towing is Lake Bluff’s premier towing, specialized transport, and specialized recovery operation. We are the company people call when no one else can handle the job. While we avoid low-paying motor club volume, we specialize in high-end luxury/exotic vehicle transport, complex specialized recoveries, and challenging circumstances that standard towing outfits lack the equipment or expertise to manage. Our primary partners include luxury dealerships, specialty repair facilities, body shops, and local municipalities. About the Role

You will be the operational anchor of our business and the owner's primary right-hand. As our sole office staff member, you’ll take full ownership of dispatch, driver coordination, client communication, and administrative workflow. We need a sharp, outgoing leader who thrives on taking charge, thinking ahead, and keeping our day-to-day operations running like clockwork. Because you'll be running the engine of the company, this position offers direct potential for quick raises, added bonuses, and continuous career growth.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

• Specialized Dispatching: Evaluate complex service requests, assign appropriate equipment/drivers, and coordinate logistics for high-value transports and specialized recovery situations.
• Driver & Field Direction: Direct, support, and keep drivers accountable in real-time, ensuring safety and precision on every job.
• Client Relations & Problem Solving: Serve as the confident, reassuring point of contact for luxury dealership managers, municipal officers, and vehicle owners facing difficult vehicle scenarios.
• Administrative & Billing Management: Oversee billing, client invoicing, payment processing, and paperwork filing with total accuracy.
• Around-the-Clock & Remote Coverage: Provide remote dispatch/phone management when the owner is away, on vacation, or handling long-distance transports (all remote tech/hardware provided).
• In-Office & Hybrid Flexibility: Maintain a core Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM in-office schedule, unlocking hybrid/remote flexibility during owner travel periods or as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Personality & Leadership: Outgoing, highly organized, and confident taking charge of office operations and directing field staff.
• Local Knowledge: Strong geographic familiarity with Lake Bluff, Lake County, and the greater North Shore/Chicagoland area.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong typing skills, digital data entry accuracy, and comfort learning/using modern dispatch/GPS management systems (experience with Towbook or similar software is a plus).
• Communication: Outstanding phone etiquette, clear verbal communication, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility: Must have the ability and willingness to manage remote, around-the-clock emergency phone/dispatch coverage when the owner is away or traveling.
• Industry Experience: Background in dispatching, towing, and office management.

Schedule, Pay & Perks:

• Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (In-Office / Hybrid when owner is traveling)
