VP, Investment Officer

We are seeking an experienced, growth-oriented Senior Investment Specialist to join our executive team as Vice President – Portfolio Manager. In this dual-function role, you will oversee discretionary investment portfolios, drive tailored asset-management strategies for high-net-worth clients, and maintain strict fiduciary integrity across Trust and Wealth Advisory accounts.

The ideal candidate blends high-level portfolio structuring with exceptional consultative skills—acting as a trusted financial strategist who can clearly articulate complex market dynamics to clients, internal advisors, and institutional partners.

• Portfolio Management & Strategy: Formulate, execute, and monitor highly customized investment strategies for high-net-worth individuals, families, and trust accounts. Align asset allocation models with specific client risk profiles, liquidity needs, tax implications, and long-term financial objectives.
  

• Fiduciary Guidance & Client Relationship Leadership: Serve as a lead investment expert alongside Wealth Advisors and Trust Officers. Deliver ongoing performance reviews, educate clients on market positioning, and provide proactive guidance through changing economic cycles.
  

• Research & Policy Compliance: Conduct rigorous macroeconomic, equity, and fixed-income research. Ensure full adherence to internal investment governance, federal banking regulations, and strict fiduciary standards.
  

• Business Development & Relationship Expansion: Partner with business development leaders to participate in prospective client presentations, proposal drafting, and referral efforts to expand regional wealth assets under management (AUM).
  

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  

• Experience: 8 years of direct experience in investment management, portfolio management, trust investments, or high-net-worth wealth advisory.
  

• Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with bank fiduciary procedures, trust accounting structures, portfolio analytics tools, and core business software (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  

• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written presentation skills, with a proven ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable client strategies.
  

• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and/or Master of Business Administration (MBA).
  

• Demonstrated track record in fiduciary compliance and multi-asset asset allocation.
