What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Landscape Finish Grader position at J-scape, Inc.?
WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED FINISH GRADER! Pay is negotiable.
We need an experienced, reliable employee that knows how to finish grade with a Bobcat machine and can perform a variety of other landscape tasks.
Our company works for new-home builders throughout central Indiana. We finish grade, lay sod, and install landscaping on newly-constructed homes.
Landscape Finish Grader and Crew Member Duties:
- Perform all duties required to complete the work needing done at the jobsites. Including finish grading new homes, shoveling and raking dirt for finish grading, laying and carrying sod, planting trees and shrubs, spreading mulch, spreading seed and straw, install straw matting, sweeping and cleaning up the jobsite, as well as other various tasks.
- Help with loading and unloading trucks with the equipment, supplies, and materials needed for the day.
Landscape Finish Grader and Crew Member Requirements:
- Reliable transportation to our shop is necessary; you must show up on time every day!
- Must be willing and able to work long hours outside in the elements including high heat or cold, humidity, dust or mud, and rain or snow.
- Have the stamina to work through an entire shift while lifting, bending, standing, and digging.
- Wear boots, hard hats, and weather-appropriate clothing. No dress code or uniform required.
