Responsibilities
- Measure window openings accurately using dimensional measurement tools to ensure proper fitment
- Handle glass materials carefully during transportation and installation to prevent damage
- Install windows, including frame carpentry, door hanging, and fixture installation, following safety protocols and manufacturer specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, trimming, sealing, caulking, and fastening components
- Perform quality control checks on measurements and finished installations to ensure precision and durability
- Assist with fabrication or remodeling tasks such as drywall installation, metal stud framing, or construction painting as needed
- Drive when needed.
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment used in window installation
- Experience handling glass materials safely during manufacturing or installation processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper technique for construction site safety
- Familiarity with construction site experience including remodeling projects and handyman tasks
