Overview
We are looking for an experienced Electric motor, and pump mechanic to work in our Bohemia shop. We have a full machine shop with balancing equipment and all necessary tools.
Responsibilities
- Independently rebuild electric motors, replace fan bearings, and rebuild both packed and mechanically sealed pumps.
- Execute electrical and mechanical troubleshooting tasks safely and efficiently.
- Safely utilize power tools and machine shop equipment for tasks such as drilling out broken bolts.
- Safely rig equipment and materials and utilize chain blocks and come-alongs for various tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance or repair of pumps and fans in industrial settings.
- MUST be able to rebuild pumps and motors on your own.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting complex machinery issues.
- Manuel Machinst skill is a plus
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
