Description

J&S Inspections Company is hiring a full-time Distribution Construction Coordinator with a focus on Pole Setting. Some travel may be needed

Job Duties

• Responsible for the coordination of contract resources
• Acts as a liaison between ONCOR electric delivery and various contractor resources
• Resolves issues and answers questions from the field related to construction and maintenance projects, service orders and MWM
• Fields contacts from contract crews regarding all types of issues and concerns relating to pole setting
• Promotes safety in work place for contractors
• Assign projects to contract crews
• Ability to learn and manage employer and client software such as ACIS, WMIS/DIS, Mobile TC, Maximo, and Smart Grid Reports
• Ensure proper construction practices are followed to minimize costs, ensure all environmental laws and procedures are followed, verify proper permits are obtained for construction activity, verify construction practices comply with all prescribed ordinances, company policies, governmental regulations and the electric service guidelines, and communicate status of projects to interested parties as required
• Capacity to coordinate numerous projects over large geographic areas

Requirements

Candidates must have knowledge of Overhead and Underground Distribution practices and comprehension of construction specifications.

Basic computer skills.

Good driving record.

           Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

           OSHA 30 preferred

Salary : $43 - $47
