Duties
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, including moving materials and tools
- Operate hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and concrete pumps safely and efficiently
- Support concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and rebar installation to ensure quality standards are met
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to follow project specifications accurately
- Help construct formwork, scaffolding, framing, drywall, stucco, and other structural elements
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks such as carrying materials, installing flooring or tile, and working on roofing or restoration projects
- Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocols at all times
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades is highly preferred
- Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings is advantageous
- Familiarity with construction tools including hand tools, power tools, concrete cutters, and plastering equipment
- Experience with concrete finishing techniques such as pouring, screeding, troweling, and surface smoothing
- Understanding of heavy lifting procedures and safety practices in a construction environment
- Ability to work effectively within a team on diverse projects such as renovation, restoration, or new build sites
- Basic knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols is essential
