Machine Operator (Temporary)

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a factory or warehouse environment and possess a strong understanding of various machining processes. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring high-quality production standards, and adhering to safety protocols.

Duties

• Count pencils & Pens
• Sort the boxes merchandise will go in
• Pack the counted items into the appropriate box
• Stock the house orders on shelves
• Take the customer orders to the shipping department
• Set up and operated various machines as instructed
• Follow production board
• Follow proper procedures for paperwork
• Clean up your area as directed
• Stock pens and pencils as assigned
• Fulfill any addition requests of Management

Requirements

• Proficiency with mechanics preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to adhere to safety practices and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
• Ability to notice errors in spelling for proofing purposes.
• Ability to work and stay focused in a busy environment, often in the midst of distraction.
• Ability to show up to work on time.
