What are the responsibilities and job description for the Southwest Regional CDL-A Driver (Home Weekly Fleet) position at J Rose Logistics?
Pay & Compensation
- Weekly Earnings: $1,200 – $1,500 average weekly pay
- Mileage Pay: Competitive cents-per-mile (CPM) rates paid on all miles (loaded and empty)
- Supplemental Pay: Detention and breakdown pay at $20.00 per hour
- Classification: Full-time, W2 position with steady year-round freight
Schedule & Home Time
- Home Time: Home weekly for your reset (typically 5 to 5.5 days out on the road)
- Reset Duration: Reliable 34 to 48-hour reset at home
- Operating Area: Regional routes running primarily throughout the Southwestern states
Freight & Equipment
- Freight Type: Dry van, 100% no-touch freight
- Operation: High-efficiency drop-and-hook (approximately 70%), with remaining loads being live load/unload
- Equipment: Newer, well-maintained Kenworth, Freightliner, and International models
- Convenience: Take-home truck privileges allowed during your weekly home time

Minimum Requirements
- License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer driving experience
- Recent Activity: Must have verifiable commercial driving activity within the last 90 days
- SAP drivers welcome if step 6 is complete and driver has some experience with another carrier after completion
