Semi-Local CDL-A Driver | Dedicated Lane

Position: Local & Regional Truck Driver (Hazmat Endorsement Required within 90 Days – reimbursement provided)

Requirements:

• at least 3 months Class A CDL experience within the last 3 years
• must live within 55 miles of Lansing

Pay:

• 0.63 to 0.75 CPM
• $3000 sign on bonus
• Breakdown $25/hr after 2 hours up to $300 for the day depending on the breakdown type
• Training is usually 3 days and driver will earn mileage and stop pay as above while training.
• Hourly/Safety pay - $20/hr
• Backhauls will pay $30 when picking up a backhaul at a vendor
• Additional Compensation:
  • $100/week to help cover unexpected situations

Position Details:

• Drivers will make daily deliveries to 40 grocery stores in IL (no downtown Chicago), Northern IN, MI (including Upper Peninsula), OH, and WI. Including shuttles between 2 distribution facilities in Lansing & Pleasant Prairie
• Drivers will be expected to pickup backhauls back to Lansing, MI (approx 85% drop and hook)
• Chicago suburb runs are the main activity on the account (but nothing in the city of Chicago), 85-90% of runs go there from both Pleasant Prairie & Lansing
• Outbound store shipments are drop and hook from the DC and at the delivery locations
• No Touch Freight

Shift Details:

• Schedule: Tues-Sat (Sun/Mon off)
• Start Time: 0100 (1:00 AM)
• Out on average 2-3 nights/week
• Drivers get 7 paid days off in their first year (7 PTO days). After 1st year, drivers get 10 paid days off (10 PTO days)

Salary : $84,000 - $90,000
