What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Maintenance Helper position at J. Ricard Maintenance, LLC?
J. Ricard Maintenance is looking to hire an individual to fill an industrial maintenance employee position on our small but growing team. This position requires experience in the industrial field.
Job tasks include but are not limited to:
- BE ABLE TO MEASURE, LAYOUT DIMENSIONS, CUT, AND GRIND MATERIAL
- ASSIST WELDER OR OTHER CREW MEMBERS WITH FITTING MATERIAL
- ASSIST WELDER OR OTHER CREW MEMBERS IN PULLING DIMENSIONS FOR MATERIAL OR LAYOUT
- ASSIST MAINTENANCE EMPLOYEES OR OTHER CREW MEMBERS WITH MECHANICAL NEEDS ON MACHINERY OR PLANT EQUIPMENT
- BE WILLING TO FLOAT BETWEEN DUTIES AS NECESSARY
- ADHERE TO ALL APPLICABLE JRM, JOB SPECIFIC, OSHA, AND MSHA (WHEN REQUIRED) SAFETY STANDARDS
- BE WILLING TO WORK AT HEIGHTS
- BE SELF MOTIVATED, AND WILLING TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY WHEN NECESSARY
- MUST HOLD A HIGH STANDARD IN QUALITY OF WORK
- BE WILLING TO WORK IN FIELD OR SHOP ENVIRONMENTS
- HAVE GENERAL UNDERSTANDING OF RIGGING
- MUST HAVE UNDERSTANDING OF LOTO PROCEDURES
-APPLICANT MUST HOLD A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE, OSHA 10 CERTIFICATION, AND CERTIFICATION ON BOOM LIFTS AND TELEHANDLERS.
Hours range between 40-70 per week depending on company workload.
Weekend and night work may be required from time to time.
Overtime is regularly available.
Travel is required regularly.
