Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Responsible for completing predictive & preventative maintenance programs for mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic & electrical systems.
- Responsible for complete installation of new equipment.
- Satisfy all other job responsibilities of Maintenance Workers (see job description for Maintenance A, B & C).
- Work independently or with a group to complete maintenance tasks.
- Complete work using fundamental mechanical & electrical principles.
- Document work orders & maintain spare parts inventory.
- Troubleshoot & resolve problems independently.
- Communicate to all departments within the organization.
- Work in a safe manner, following all relevant safety policies & procedures.
- Perform jobs requested by Maintenance Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma.
- Journeyman’s card or Associates degree in Maintenance Technology or similar field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Machine Repair Tech, Millwright or Electrical Tech.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical systems and electrical circuits.
- Experience leading others.
- Strong attention to detail and able to keep accurate records.
- Able to effectively communicate with others and be able to read and write.
- Able to perform basic math calculations.
