The J Resort is a full-service hotel-casino with over 500 rooms and wide variety of Slots and Table Games. Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Break down and clean all cooking and food holding equipment including but not limited to ovens, ranges, fryers, broilers, griddles, hot and cold wells, and hot boxes
- Clean refrigeration including reach ins, freezers, walk ins
- Clean walls, floors, mats, vents and floor drains
- Clean all tables, shelves, racks, speed racks, sinks and dishwashing equipment
- Move equipment and clean under and behind
- Deep clean bars including sinks, behind and under equipment, refrigeration
- Remove all boxes, milk crates and trash to dock and dumpster
- Follow sanitary and proper food handling procedures
- Monitors all machine functions and gauges for proper temp
- Reports malfunctions, breakdowns and any needs to Management
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience
- Must have an understanding of English
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must have working knowledge of the food service industry
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment preferred
- Identification that establishes identity
- Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
