What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator position at J. Ranck Electric?
The Company:

In this full-time role as an Estimator, you will be part of a small close-knit team, estimating renewable energy projects out of the J. Ranck Electric, Mt Pleasant, Michigan corporate office.
The Role:
You will be estimating costs for materials, purchased and/or leased equipment, subcontracted work, production activities and requirements, and labor. You will provide preliminary estimates for planning purposes and detailed itemized estimates based on final plans and specifications. You will review data to determine material and labor requirements, research and evaluate subcontractors, analyze price proposals, input estimate information into appropriate software and review changes as needed. You will communicate with management to review the final bid documents and ensure timely delivery of estimate. You will also need to maintain a network of contacts to help procure new projects idea for J. Ranck Electric.
Qualifications:
Must be detail oriented, flexible, organized, able to meet tight deadlines and have the ability to focus on accuracy and initiative. Demonstrated sales/procurement experience preferred.
Wage:
This is a full-time position. Wage is dependent upon experience with a benefit package that includes medical, paid time off, paid training, company-match 401K, discretionary profit sharing and year-end bonus.
