Duties
- Safely operate vehicles such as vans, paratransit vehicles, school buses, shuttles, or limousines to transport passengers and goods.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including heavy lifting of luggage or equipment when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.
- Communicate effectively with passengers regarding schedules, routes, and any changes in transportation plans.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to management.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial driving or related fields such as van driving, paratransit services, school bus driving, shuttle driving, or limousine services is preferred.
- Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with passengers and team members.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting tasks associated with passenger transport is required.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary for this position.
