Summary

Exercises professional judgment—from limited to independent decision-making—within defined parameters or established practices to determine and execute appropriate actions. Develops practical expertise across select to several business processes, technologies, and data domains. Acts as a collaborative and informed team member by providing information, analysis, and recommendations in support of team efforts. Evaluates data engineering challenges and contributes to solution development through informed recommendations.

Relevant Experience
1-5 years data engineering experience and/or training
Knowledge & Skills
- Demonstrated understanding of data engineering with the ability to address moderately complex issues.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python or SQL.
- Applies basic methodologies for data engineering (i.e., ETL, data orchestration, data modeling, data quality, etc.)
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Databricks, SQL, and Data Modeling.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, contributing to team design activities and documentation.
- Can apply critical thinking skills to solving problems and a strong technical aptitude.
- Experience delivering data solutions through agile software development methodologies is ideal but not required.
