What are the responsibilities and job description for the CMM Programmer / Quality Inspector position at J&R Machine Works?
The selected candidate will work in the Inspection Department and be responsible for the First Article Inspection, In-Process Inspection, and Final Inspection of CNC parts in accordance with aerospace and Department of Defense standards.
Hourly pay dependant on experience.
Basic Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years’ experience working in a machine shop Quality Control department. (AS9100 & ITAR)
- The candidate must have 5 years experience using a CMM (PC-DMIS) and using a large variety of mechanical and digital inspection equipment.
- The Inspector must have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (GD&T) in accordance with a multitude of government-related specs.
- Proficiency in basic shop math, numeric conversions, and geometry
- Organized, attention to detail, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Must be eligible to legally work in the United States of America

- High School Diploma or GED'
