Job Summary
Experienced Rigging Professional
J&R Industrial Rigging, LLC is seeking skilled and safety-focused Rigging Professionals to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with rigging operations, load calculations, equipment inspection, and safe lifting practices in industrial, construction, manufacturing, or related environments.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute safe rigging and lifting operations
- Inspect and maintain rigging equipment, slings, chains, and hardware
- Determine load weights, center of gravity, and proper rigging methods
- Communicate effectively with crane operators and project personnel
- Follow all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety requirements
- Assist with equipment setup, movement, and positioning
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of rigging experience preferred
- Knowledge of industry rigging standards and safe lifting procedures
- Ability to read load charts, lift plans, and technical drawings
- Current rigging certifications are a plus
- Certified Welding is a plus
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 50 pounds
- Willing to travel
