HVAC Senior Superintendent
What are we looking for?
- 5-10 years' experience as a HVAC superintendent on multifamily new construction
- Must have large-scale, complex builds such as student housing, assisted living facilities, hotels, podium, high-rise and/or wrap multifamily experience.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Must have experience with managing installation subcontractors as well as maintaining relationship with GC and internal customers.
- Must have good communications skills in English. Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus.
- Good organizational skills and technically savvy (computer skills, being able to use/learn ProCore, eSub, and other software for bids, submittals, etc.)
- MUST HAVE a valid driver's license
Experienced Requirements:
- Knowledge of HVAC duct configurations, air flow impact, and deconfliction
- Understands submittal data and related construction documents
- Experienced with sheet metal, duct board and flexible duct systems
- Knowledge of HVAC start up procedures
- Experienced with Roof Top Units (RTUs), DOAS, Specialty Equipment, and Crane Lifts
- Experienced with blockouts and sleeves
- Experienced in planning and coordinating of subcrews with tasks to be performed, and monitoring performance
- Key communication point for their job with Project Manager, Area Manager, HR, Safety, Sub-contractors, and other key partners
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and identify conflicts
