Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, assembly, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints and schematics
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment
• Read and interpret technical drawings related to piping and sprinkler systems
• Measure and cut pipes using calipers, pipe benders, and other precision tools; ensure proper fitting and alignment
• Support the rigging and lifting of materials on construction sites or manufacturing facilities safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, inspecting equipment, and adhering to safety protocols at all times
• Collaborate with team members on troubleshooting issues involving plumbing, HVAC components, or pipeline systems

Qualifications

• Prior experience or interest in construction site work, manufacturing environments, or plumbing is preferred but not required
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, calipers, tube bending equipment, and pipe threading techniques
• Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements and system layouts
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards in construction or industrial settings
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in fire sprinkler fitting
