Assistant Project Manager
We are excited to be looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our team! Founded in 1994, JR Butler is a commercial glass and glazing company based in Englewood, Colorado, with projects across the country. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordination of project specific functions (schedule, pull, coordination, issues)
- Managing/coordination with General Contractors
- GC Contract review and markup
- Support Project Engineers with RFI, COR, notifications etc.
- Managing vendor relationships
- Manage project budget and attend financial meetings
- Manage project close out
- Attend GC meetings as needed
- Communicate field scheduling with manufacturing
- Coordinate Field Quality as it relates to GC
- Address problems and escalate problems to Senior PM
- Pursue health of project team relationship (internal and external)
- Pursue health and development of team (person and project)
- Occasional travel/commute.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering related field required
- 5 plus years in commercial construction required
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear, straightforward manner
- Ability to show judgment and initiative to accomplish job duties
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Ability to research, digest, analyze, and present material clearly and concisely
- Ability to travel on short notice
Compensation & Benefits:
- $60,000-$80,000
- Eligible for company performance-based bonus program
- 401K packages with employer matching

- 80 hours of vacation time in first year
