J.R. Boehlke, Inc. is an asphalt, concrete, landscape, and snow contractor founded in 1996. We are seeking several experienced sealcoaters to join our commercial and residential sealcoating operations.
The Sealcoating Technicians will perform all tasks associated with cleaning, prepping, crackfilling, and sealing commercial and residential properties as a member of a 3-6 person crew under direction of a Foreman. The right individual for the role will be high-energy, detail-oriented, and dependable, have a demonstrated history of working well with teammates, and enjoy working in a growing company.
Prior experience sealcoating is strongly preferred, but we will train the right individual for this role.
Job Responsibilities
The Sealcoating Tech will be responsible for:
- Use of push blower and/or wire broom to clean surface prior to application of seal coat or crack fill material.
- Preparation of surface utilizing an asphalt crack router to open surface cracks prior to filling.
- Application of crack fill material utilizing a crack seal kettle and a wand.
- Application of seal coat material utilizing a long-handled squeegee and/or spray wand.
- Manual labor including shoveling, brooming and raking.
- Occasional equipment operation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in asphalt maintenance and sealcoating.
- High attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to operate and maintain all sealcoating equipment.
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with clean driving record (CDL preferred).
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
