What are the responsibilities and job description for the E-Commerce Processing Orders and Fulfillment position at J. PRESS INC.?
J. Press is a historic American menswear brand that has been around since 1902. Founded in New Haven, CT, it was one of the leaders of Ivy Style and still one of the last great brands to continue that legacy. Our focus is always on quality and service, from our three brick-and-mortar stores in New York City, New Haven and Washington D.C., to our online store.
We are looking for new team members to help grow our online business in New Haven, CT that will help with customer service, operations and website updates.
- Rings up orders and assigns picking locations from our 4 stores and warehouse.
- Picks items from New Haven store stock to fulfill orders
- Communicates with store staff to send orders for fulfillment
- Processes returns to check eligibility and approves for refund or exchange
- Assists web team with additional tasks as needed
- Computer driven position
- Weekend hours are required
Requirements:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Preferably experienced with Shopify
- Able to lift and carry boxes up and down flights of stairs
- A basic understanding or interest in men’s high end clothing is a plus
