What are the responsibilities and job description for the Natural Gas Construction Foreman position at J Porter Enterprises, LLC?
A small Pennsylvania natural gas utility contractor headquartered in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania is seeking experienced and qualified Foreman for work throughout Pennsylvania. All candidates must have successfully graduated from high school or hold a GED. All candidates must particpate in a federally mandated drug and alcohol testing program. To be considered, a candidate must have a current driver's license, a good driving record and a clean criminal background.
The company work area spans a large portion of Pennsylvania and may require travel and staying away from home during the work week.
This position is full time; however, hours may vary due to weather and job completion. All candidates must be willing to work overtime.
It is preferred that applicants have a minimum of two years experience as a Foreman in the utility gas distribution industry. A candidate for employment should have experience with safe trenching and excavation practices including temporary traffic control. Further, the candidate should be knowledgeable of and preferably be qualified under CFR 49 Part 192 for natural gas pipe installation, fusion, mechanical installations and have had OQ's for natural gas work.
