Presently seeking a Warehouse Janitor for our Maintenance Department to join our rapidly growing Team.  This position will report directly to the Director of Facilities and Maintenance.

This is a 1^st shift position.  The hours are Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm. The pay will be $15.25/hr.

Warehouse Janitor Responsibilities:

• General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Disposing of trash and emptying trash receptacles.
• Clean and stock restrooms.
• Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
• Maintaining inventory of cleaning agents and equipment
• Perform minor repairs.
• Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
• Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components
• Familiarity with basic landscaping and handyman practices

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail and conscientiousness.

• Adhering to safety guidelines and procedures.
• Must have the ability to do simple math such as Add and Subtract

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous work experience within the last 2 years preferred.
• Entry level position

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
