Role Description The Internal Sales Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Columbus, OH, focused on supporting the growth of J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s products and solutions related to workplace retirement within our Chase channel supporting our banking and advisor small business clients. We consult directly with small business owners to educate them on their benefit needs to determine if the Solo K or 401K is the right fit and provide additional insight into how we can help as owners, their employees and provide a pathway for their business to grow alongside their benefits. This role involves partnering with an external sales partner and coordinating activities with bankers and financial advisors within the Chase infrastructure.

The Internal Sales Consultant will collaborate with marketing, product, and client service teams to ensure consistent messaging and a high-quality client experience. The role requires meeting sales and activity targets, monitoring pipeline development, and providing feedback from the field to help refine strategies and offerings. This Columbus based role offers extensive training and career development with salary and commission targeting 140K .

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Sales Consulting and Consulting skills to identify client needs, position appropriate solutions, and support distribution partners.
• Candidates should possess solid Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to build trust, manage expectations, and maintain long-term relationships.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to present complex information simply.
• Relevant professional business to business experience in needed. Prior financial services experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to work in a goal-oriented environment, manage multiple priorities, and use CRM and sales enablement tools effectively.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a client-focused mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Communications or a related field; relevant licenses (such as FINRA SIE, Series 7 and 63) are required within 90 days of hire.
