Job Overview
Lawn Maintenance Worker
Duration of steady lawn maintenance work would be a minimum of 3-4 months Jun '26 - Sep'26, with possible extension through Nov '26, then intermittent work Dec '26 - Feb '27, then resuming steady work Mar '27 - May'27.
Hiring decision will be made closer to this May '26.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to/from crew pick up/drop off somewhere along Airport Blvd between McGregor-Azalea and Snow or somedays each week along Schillinger or Moffett. Pick up time may be as early as 6am, but drop off time will go no later than 3pm, it depends on the day's high temperature. Work(customers) are West of Azalea-McGregor between Zeigler & Cottage Hill.
- Reliable, fully functioning phone in possession at all times.
Qualifications
- Ability to quickly start hand power equipment(Stihl) from cold or hot state and refill with proper fuel.
- Ability to change out Grass Trimmer spools(trim line reload) and Edger blades.
- Ability to chain saw cut small tree branches, Crape Myrtle branches
- Ability hand load bags of leaves and small branches onto a truck or trailer.
- Ability to hedge shrubs/bushes in round or rectangular shapes.

- Handyman Skills Helpful: Minor plumbing, crawlspace insulation repair, minor painting, significant deck carpentry repair, scrap growth clearing, minor cemented brick/block masonry, minor vinyl siding replacement, kitchen cabinet & drawer repair, minor interior/exterior painting.
Duties
- Grass Trimming(Weed-Whacking), Blowing and Bagging Leaves, Edging, Hedging(Bush Trimming), Push Mowing, Small Tree/Crape Myrtle Branch Cutting(Chain Saw), Mulch & Pine Straw, Planting Flowers.
- Additional Possible Work: Handyman work around owner's home during the off season Dec '25 - Feb'26. Tasks would be wide ranging home and yard repairs.
