Building Maintenance Technician

J&P Electrical Company is hiring a full-time Building Maintenance technician for our Eastpointe warehouse.

We are an industrial electrical salvage and restoration company focusing on reconditioning new and used industrial electrical equipment.

The ideal candidate will be prompt, dependable, and have their own transportation.

The pay is $22.00/hour.

All interested applicants must:

· Present a valid driver's license

· Own a reliable vehicle

· Have a cell phone

· Go through a background check

Some of the daily tasks associated with the position of Janitor include:

·             Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows, and walls

·             Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones

·             Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed

·             Empty trash and recycling bins

·             Stock and maintain supply rooms

·             Clean and maintain restrooms

·             Clean and stock lunchroom

·             Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers

·             Snow Removal-plow, shovel and salt parking lots and walkways.

·             Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions
