Job Summary
Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Worker Forklift Operator, where your energy and expertise will drive efficiency and safety in our distribution operations. In this vital role driving a forklift, trucks to load, unload, and move materials across the warehouse.
Duties
- Safely operate forklift.
- Perform order picking using RF scanners and
pick systems to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly. - Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation.
- Handle materials with care during heavy lifting tasks, ensuring proper stacking and storage in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and updates within the warehouse management system.
- Support warehouse supervision by adhering to safety protocols, conducting equipment inspections, and reporting any mechanical issues or hazards.
- Contribute to a safe working environment by following OSHA guidelines, participating in safety training, and practicing proper materials handling techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar logistics environments with a focus on order picking and materials handling.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and shipping & receiving procedures.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods while maintaining attention to detail during order picking.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
