Welder/Fitter – J&M Welding, Inc.
Full-Time | In-Shop & Field | Paso Robles, CA | DOE
J&M Welding, Inc. is a structural steel fabrication and welding subcontractor based in Paso Robles, CA. We are looking for skilled Welders and Fitters to join our shop and field teams.
Responsibilities
- Fit, tack, and weld structural steel assemblies per blueprints and shop drawings
- Operate welding equipment including MIG, Flux Core, and stick processes as required
- Perform quality checks to ensure welds meet project specifications and standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work collaboratively with shop leads and team members
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in structural steel welding and/or fitting preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Proficiency in MIG, Flux Core, and stick processes
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work both shop and field assignments as needed
